As a consulting company we support more than 1,000 international companies, groups and institutions in the economical and technical organisation for their energy supplies. Within this process, the focus lies on the optimisation of energy cost.

By using our long-time experience, creative concepts and the exact knowledge of the European energy market, we ensure an ideal energy cost management for our clients. We manage the energy input and the procurement of approximately 13,000 GWh of electricity and 12,000 GWh of natural gas.

The liberalisation of the European energy markets offers new purchasing opportunities. However, to be able to use them, it is necessary - besides permanent market monitoring and negotiation skills with the suppliers – to have a good knowledge of the EU legislation at your disposal. All together, this composes of a complex know-how that our consultants have available and which they pass on to our clients.

HISTORY WITH FUTURE

ECG was founded in 1986 and has its origin in the former energy department of the steel mill Badische Stahlwerke GmbH. Since then, we have enlarged our range of services continuously and we are consulting throughout Europe’s large industrial companies as well as medium-sized companies.
